DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:The Dog Reading Pals program is designed to help emerging readers gain confidence by reading aloud to a non-judgmental dog pal. Pre-readers are welcome too! They can "read" the pictures to the dog pals as a great pre-reading experience.=0D=0A=0D=0ATo help ease the traffic flow for this program and ensure that all children have time to read to a dog, the library will be taking sign-ups in 15 minute slots between 4:00-5:00pm. Registration slots will be limited based on the number of dogs and volunteer handlers expected to attend. Children who sign-up will be given first priority, though walk-ins will also be welcome!
